Healthcare People Management Association (HPMA) is a registered charity working with HR & OD departments across the NHS and wider health and social care sector. They have established relationships with many NHS trusts who make up their membership but wanted to step up their branding, content, and social media in order to better connect with their members and continue to grow.

HPMA and Hearne Creative worked together for 3 years as we provided a wide range of creative services for them as needed during a time of rapid expansion for their business.

This included:

  • Ongoing social media management across X and LinkedIn
  • Updated branding to expand colour, font, and graphic options
  • Designing an interactive map of HPMA branches
  • Updates to the HPMA website including fresh content, blog posts, mailing list pop-up, graphic design
  • Photography for several events including their annual conference and awards
  • Live-tweeting several events including their annual conference and awards
  • PowerPoint presentation templates
  • Social media training for staff and members
  • Canva training for staff and members
  • Fresh branding for their #InclusiveHR movement
  • Designing their 2022-25 strategy document
  • Designing their 2022 presidents’ brochure
  • Several logo designs for various work programmes

Graphic design & branding:

HPMA “strategy on a page” and 2 strategy banners for use at events and conferences. The full strategy document, which we also designed, can be found here.

Social media:

A small selection of the graphics we created regularly for HPMA’s X and LinkedIn posts. We hosted monthly meetings with the HPMA team to discuss important upcoming events in the HR / OD / NHS calendar and created posts accordingly. The included national days, HPMA events, NHS discussion topics, support for staff etc.

#InclusiveHR:

#InclusiveHR was originally started by Cheryl Samuels and Rachael Tyler in HPMA’s London branch but was picked up by the national team in order to further its reach. Hearne Creative provided fresh, uniform branding to be used across the antiracist social movement to offer an instantly recognisable connection between HPMA and #InclusiveHR for members.

The #InclusiveHR branding could then be tied in with national days to assist with promoting the programme and increasing sign-ups. An example of this can be found here.
